The Plot and the Land

No house exists in a vacuum. It sits on a piece of land, influenced by its surroundings—the terrain, water features, roads, and neighbouring buildings.

We conduct a detailed assessment of:

The shape of the plot: Determining if its form is inherently supportive or problematic.

The immediate environment: Analysing the impact of neighbouring structures, roads, and bodies of water.

Topography and water flow: Understanding the direction of slopes and how water (and energy) moves across the land.

Land quality: Evaluating how energy enters and distributes itself across the site.

The Orientation of the House

The precise orientation of the main facade, the exact degree on a compass—dictates the type of energy your home will draw from its environment. The main entrance is the ‘mouth’ of the house, the primary portal for Chi. Its direction must be carefully calculated to be in harmony with both the current time period and the Kua numbers (birth data) of the residents.
